Contact
For inquiries regarding this project, please contact Annabel Gregg at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) via email: Annabel Gregg.
Components
The Tree Tracker is composed of several ArcGIS applications. The NYSDEC_PUB user is the owner of all ArcGIS Online (AGOL) items, with some items shared with the Tree Tracker AGOL group. These items include:
Public Web Page
DEC has a webpage dedicated to this initiative. The breadcrumb navigation is: Home > Nature > Forests > Forests and Climate Change > 25 Million Trees By 2033. This page is maintained by DEC.
Public Survey
The Public Survey is accessible via the action button on the Public webpage.
Partner Survey
The partner Survey is open and the link is only shared with DEC partners. The pupose is to allow partner groups to report large plantings by uploading a formatted spreadsheet with thier data. There is currently no mechinism to upload these. Currently, we enter or upload these manually.
ArcGIS Dashboard
The Dashboard is embedded in the Public Web Page. There is also a link in the text of the page that opens in a new window.
💡 Note: The responsive design may not always render correctly, causing text to truncate. Refreshing the page can resolve this issue.
